During the years that I did Story Time at our local library, I found it necessary to go over some basic manners, on occasion. Usually at the beginning of summer time and just before the holidays. I really love the book Manners Can Be Fun by Munro Leaf.  He  also wrote many other children’s books about manners, behavior, science, grammar and more.  I have always loved his books, especially their cute line drawings.

Preschool aged children love to learn new things and have very tender hearts, so teaching them ways to be nice isn’t so hard.  In Manners Time, are lots of ways to help us teach manners.
