Storytime Stickers: It’s Halloween with Spookley the Square Pumpkin This book is full of fun stickers to dress up Spookley and his friends, decorate their parties and play games. I don’t know one child who doesn’t love stickers! You can hand them out to be stuck on whatever tickles the child’s fancy or they can decorate the pages with the stickers.

My All time favorite book for preschool crafts and stories has to be Tops and Bottoms by Janet Stevens. It is such a fun book. It is about the infamous industrious Rabbit and the gullible lazy Bear. It not only tells a fun story, but it helps kids remember to think things all the way through! Not thinking things all the way through is what gets the lazy bear into trouble!

Everyone loves the beach but if you aren’t near one, you can still enjoy it! First get some seashells to show the kids, and then have them pack a pretend bag full of supplies for a day at the beach. Once they’ve shared what they’ve packed with you, you can all sit down to enjoy some summer beach time fun! Father’s day can be a lot of fun for kids. Here are some ideas to make a father’s day story time fun. First of all bring a baseball and glove or a fishing pole and some tools to show the kids. Have the kids talk about what the things are for, and why dads like or use these thing. Talk about what they like to do with their dad, or step-dad or uncle or grandpa and so on.
Father’s day is just around the corner and they are SO hard to shop for. But one thing they love almost as much as we mothers do, are hand made gifts from their kids. SO, I have some ideas here that I got from Martha Stewart as well as a simple tool card the children can make.

They have a some fun adventures together doing all the things Susie loves, so of course her father loves them too. Valentine Crafts for Valentine’s Day are one of my favorites children crafts to do story time for. It’s so much fun to help the kids make them because they love making Valentine Crafts for people, especially if they are creating a gift for someone they love, like Mom or Dad.
