Once upon a time there lived a poor widow and her son Jack. Jack didn’t like to work hard and was frequently lazy. He didn’t like to help his mother as much as he should. Eventually, the widow and her son ran out of food and money and all they had left was an old milk cow. The widow told Jack to take the old milk cow to town and sell it so they could buy some food.
