Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Once upon a time there were three bearswho lived in a little house in the woods. There was a great big papa bear, with a great big voice. A middle sized mama bear, with a middle sized voice, and a little wee baby bear with a wee little voice.
Once upon a time there lived a poor widow and her son Jack. Jack didn’t like to work hard and was frequently lazy. He didn’t like to help his mother as much as he should. Eventually, the widow and her son ran out of food and money and all they had left was an old milk cow. The widow told Jack to take the old milk cow to town and sell it so they could buy some food.
The Chilly weather is here and it is time for autumn activities for kids. Today’s post is about squirrels. Kids love squirrels with their bushy tails and quick movements. I found three books about squirrels that are fun to read:

Fall is in the air and I LOVE it! Fall is my favorite time of the year! The air is cooling and getting a chill, the leaves are turning and the lawn doesn’t need constant mowing! It is also time for animals to get ready for migration. The bears and turtles and frogs and other animals are getting ready for a long winter sleep. What a fun storytime to do about Fall in the Air and animals getting ready to hibernate. I found some super cute books to go with both of those themes and couldn’t decide which theme to pick so I picked them both. Read on for book suggestions, story time activity ideas and printouts and some poetry about fall and hibernation.
Today’s post is all about Autumn and books to share for Autumn,or Fall, Storytime. Before you start you can get creative and do a little Fall decorating in your Storytime area. You could place pumpkins, goards and apples around, maybe add some of that colorful Indian corn and some of the leaves that are falling everywhere.
Fall is finally here. My favorite season of the year. It isn’t too cold yet, but it is no longer hot. All around the colors are changing and there is bite to the air that tells us change is coming and Santa is on his way!
