During the years that I did Story Time at our local library, I found it necessary to go over some basic manners, on occasion. Usually at the beginning of summer time and just before the holidays. I really love the book Manners Can Be Fun by Munro Leaf.  He  also wrote many other children’s books about manners, behavior, science, grammar and more.  I have always loved his books, especially their cute line drawings.

Making Kid’s Crafts can be easy when using Linley Dodd’s Slinkey Malinkey as the theme.   Slinky Malinki is a good cat by day, but gets up to trouble by night.  Finally, he has to face the humiliating consequences of his pilfering.  It is a very cute book, with lovely illustrations and well formed rhymes.

I was given the opportunity to review these audio stories and I am so glad I did. They were narrated in a very clean and concise way, but not boring.
Since this blog is dedicated to Storytime Crafts, I put together some coloring pages to go along with the stories. My daughter Julie, once again, came to my rescue with her talent and helped to redraw the John Muir Commemorative Coin.
